Next Step FC Sign Deal with Cupello Coaching

Next Step FC’s summer of transition and growth continues with the owning of a key partnership with renowned online platform Cupello Coaching.

Who are Cupello Coaching?

The online platform is aimed at global coaches throughout the world, from amateur to professional, with there global network allowing participants to upload coaching plans, communicate through forums, as well as access premium podcasts about the world of coaching, among other things. In essence a private VIP football coach social media of sorts.

Founder of Cupello Coaching David Clarke a renowned pioneer in the world of online soccer coaching and sports journalist for the Sunday Mirror had previously featured Next Step FC Head Coach and Founder Charlie Pomroy as a guest session designer for the program, from where the partnership was born. Speaking peaking to a representative from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the governing body of football in Europe this week he stated: “The online platform is going to change everything. I’ve been playing with this for a couple weeks and getting too excited. I reached out to David hoping for a ‘mates rate’ on the software and couldn’t believe when he came back offering the whole thing as part a of a partnership deal. The man is a genius”

Next Step and Cupello Coaching

The partnership will give all club coaches access to the platform, mutual promotion of both companies, as well as a podcast planned from later in the year, with Charlie adding ”Last season was such a rollercoaster I decided to start keeping voice notes. I might have needed them in court or just for memories but it’s actually become a little library of some interesting stories. The idea has evolved quickly and I’m looking forward to getting started with it”.

The deal comes of the back of a number of announcements by the club as they seek to strengthen both on and off the pitch. Last season Next Step FC finished 11th in CPL 2, second bottom of the Cambodian football pyramid.
