Cambodia Get 7 Medals at Ju Jitsu event in Bangkok

Cambodian stars have won seven medals at the 7th Asian Ju Jitsu Championshi, which was held over 4 days in Bangkok from February 24th to 28th.
The tournament which attracted over 500 players from 30 Asian nations included 18 Khmer participants. According yo an annulment by the Cambodian Ju Jitsu federation the local athletes won four silver and three bronze medals, alas failing to return any gold medals.

Who won what?

Touch Pikakada and Kongmona Mithora who competed won a silver medal in the mens doubles, while Heng Seaheang and Kongmona Mithora in the men’s and women’s Duo Mixed also won silver medals.
The trophy hail was completed with .Sor Sophanut and Tin Sovanlina in Men’s and Women’s Duo Mixed grabbing a bronze medal and Tin Sovanlina and Heng Seavheang in the women’s doubles getting the same.
The seven medal haul means Cambodia came second the DuoShow ranking system.
Ju Jitsu has been a mainstay of the SEA games for a number of years and will be part of the 32nd Games set to be hosted in Cambodia this May. with the Kingdom having high hopes of taking home medals at the event.
