Crown go top after Svay Rieng Lose

Phnom Penh Crown made it four wins from four on Sunday with a comfortable win over Kirivong. That win was enough for them to claim top spot as title rivals Svay Rieng lost in injury time to Vishaka.

How many horses are in the race…….

At the start of the season there were only going to be two teams that could bring home the title.. Crown and Svay Rieng are head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. However, after four games, Nagaworld have a maximum 9 points from 9 as do Angkor Tiger. The difference between them is Nagaworld have beaten Vishaka & Boeung Ket whilst Tiger have beaten the teams in and around them. Vishaka’s win over Svay Rieng will give them renewed confidence but do they have what it takes to really challenge?

Long hard season ahead for Kirivong…….

Kirivong have had a rough start to the season, they’ve played Crown, Vishaka and Boeung Ket in their opening games which isn’t easy for anyone but their fans will already be thinking they want the season to end quickly.

Both promoted clubs are still looking for their first win with both Life FC & Ministry finding life in the top flight harder than expected.

Nagaworld to lay down a marker….

Svay Rieng will take on Nagaworld in the game of the weekend. A win either way will make a huge statement to everyone else. Vishaka will continue their rebirth and Boeung Ket will hopefully kick start their season at home to Life FC.
