Perhaps more importantly than the results were that this was the first time Cambodia had hosted any form of women’s qualifying event, with the overall consensus being that both hosting and gaining exposure for the women’s game were both a success.

All games were hosted on time and without issue at the RSN Smart Stadium, with both of Cambodian women’s matches getting over 250 paying fans, as well as local media coverage.
