League Cup: Half Time Report (Part 2)

Three weeks down, four weeks to go, as we approach the half way stage we give our verdict on the work done so far. Much like high school we will use the familier A-F grading system.

Crown, Svay Rieng, Vishaka, Boeung Ket, EDC & Police have all played only two games so we will reserve their reports until next week.

Soltilo Angkor

The whipping boys of this group took everyone by surprise but becoming very difficult to beat against Crown. Then Angkor Tiger barely manager a shot but it was back to normal against Nagaworld.

VERDICT: D IMPROVING BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH.

ISI

Won both games we expected them to and were outdone by a very good Nagaworld. The question with them will always be: can the coach change the game for them? To go to the next level they might need to change.

VERDICT: B WITH A BETTER TEACHER YOU COULD BE AN A LEVEL STUDENT

NAGAWORLD

The best team in the competition so far. Yes they beat Soltilo 6-0 and it’s only Soltilo but they did it with class. Police and ISI also dispatched with ease.

VERDICT: A MUCH IMPROVED THIS TERM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

ANGKOR TIGER

Very disappointing display so far. They’re so far off where they did to be it’s frightening. Noises from inside the club are that they have no money, no plans and Heath is getting ready to quit. Not a gray time to be a tiger fan unless you’re in the band.

VERDICT: F  NOT GOOD ENOUGH
